For the best RemoteMix experience, we recommend using Google Chrome.

In order to connect your mixer to connect to Remote Mix, a few things must occur. If you're having trouble connecting, here are a few things to check:

  • You must have an approved mixer. Check this list to make sure your audio mixer is compatible.

  • Your Spark must be powered on, and on the same network as your mixer. It can be connected via ethernet or wifi, but ethernet is best.

  • Your mixer must be powered on, and on the same network as your Spark encoder. It can be connected via ethernet or wifi, but ethernet is best.

  • You must select your Spark encoder as the Remote Mix Agent.

  • You must select the correct brand and model of audio mixer from the Mixer Brand drop down menu.

If it is still not auto connecting, you may enter in the IP address manually from your mixer. You can find this by contacting your staff's IT admin, or by looking it up on the mixer itself. Check your mixer's manual or reach out to your mixer brand's customer support if you need help finding it.

Networks can be set many different ways. It may seem like you're connected on the same network, but there could be subnets, VLANs, firewall rules, or other restrictions involved. As much as we'd love to help, the first person you should talk to is your IT admin. They'll have the best insight as to how to make sure both devices are able to communicate.

If you're still having issues, feel free to reach out to our support team through the chat or at [email protected].
